Hawkins Furniture Company specializes in building things out of reclaimed wood and Texas wood. Buffets, hutches, chest of drawers, side tables, mantles, desks, beds, bookcases/shelves, dining tables – we build them all, but they don’t live in the store. That’s because they’re built based on unique personal choices and preferences, crafted and finished with Hawkins’ deft eye. We are not just a store, but instead, a workshop where one-of-a-kind pieces are custom crafted.
Over the years, we’ve done a lot of different things. Browse our shop on any given day and you might find a beautiful mantle out of black walnut, a pecan side table, or even a dining table made from old bowling alley – whatever material it is, we’re committed to showing it in its best light and using it in creative, new ways to enhance the natural beauty of the woods we choose.
