Whether you already have the perfect piece of wood to turn into a one of a kind piece of furniture or don’t find a piece that meets your specifications already on our showroom floor, we’ll build a custom piece of furniture that you will fall in love with. At Hawkins Furniture Co. roughly 75% of our business is custom, made to order furniture, sustainably crafted out of reclaimed wood that is salvaged from old houses, barns, dance halls, and bowling alleys, as well as old growth trees that died due to Texas’ extreme weather - drought, wildfire, and hurricanes. We make dining tables, conference tables, console tables, desks, sideboards, kitchen islands, beds, nightstands, dressers, bookshelves, coffee tables, end tables, and more.
Call me at (281) 341-0479, send me an email, or stop by the store at 1811 Avenue G, Rosenberg TX, 77471 to talk about what you’re looking for.
If you already know exactly what you want, great. If you don’t, we’ll walk around the showroom floor and visit the woodshop to discuss the type of furniture you need, wood species, wood sources, and the desired finished color.
After we’ve discussed what you want, we’ll settle on a fair price and a timeline for completion. Custom pieces usually take four months to complete from start to finish. We require 50% down to begin work and the remainder is due when you pick up the finished piece.
In addition to creating custom-order furniture, we specialize in carefully restoring and refinishing antique furniture. Hawkins will work with you to breath new life into your family heirloom or estate sale find. From Grandma’s game table to Great Uncle Roger’s desk - we’ll make your heirloom last another hundred years.
